# Relay batches

Twelve sample transfers with source and destination references, lifecycle states, and payload units.

All network records are synthetic examples.

## Fields

- id (string): Stable batch identifier; matches ^batch-[0-9]{3}$.
- source_id (string): Foreign key to the originating waypoint's id.
- destination_id (string): Foreign key to a different destination waypoint's id.
- units (integer): Positive illustrative payload size. Count once per batch, not once per event.
- state (string): One of queued, in_transit, or delivered; derived from the last lifecycle event.
- created_at (string): Fixed ISO 8601 UTC timestamp, equal to the queued event timestamp.
- synthetic (boolean): Always true: this transfer did not occur in a real network.
